The lack of empathy by House Republicans for children murdered in our nation's schools by their support of the sale of high powered guns and bullet clips - used by mass murderers is truly a disgusting form of national leadership! Also, the House Republican callous reaction to the unemployed by cutting their benefits and their constant condemnations of the working poor and the uninsured sick and homeless citizens is beyond the pale - outside the bounds of acceptable human behavior.
The House Republicans support of tax cuts for millionaires funded by cutting food stamps and medicaid for the poor is obviously tinged with racism directed at the president and against the many poor folk who are Black. The Republican party has become a party of elitist plutocrats - defined as rule by the wealthy. The Republican Party should be eliminated ASAP and a new party formed with moral principles! The Republican Party is destroying the America way of life - leading us into unjust wars (e.g., Bush's immoral Iraq War) and possibly an even greater depression than the Great Republican Depression of Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover in the 1930s.
Republicans have to be reminded of the following Bible verses directed at their manner of acting as legislators:
"Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink? When did we see you a stranger, and take you in? or naked, and clothed you? Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came unto you? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungry, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
